Swegway/Hoverboard

Owing to the nature of the Swegway/Hoverboard itself, we at hcsgadgets are acutely aware that these items will require technical attention at some point during the time they are in your possession. Accordingly, we are pleased to furnish you with a 12-month warranty to protect you and allow you to protect your board.

We are confident that the warranty we provide is of a standard that even the manufacturers cannot compete with!

you to buy their items, we at hcsgadgets.com want you to rest easy in the knowledge that our aftercare service is there to take care of you and your board, long after you have made your purchase!

What is covered under warranty?

  • Electrical malfunctions
  • Manufacturing faults relating to the casing, chassis and wheels (does not include general wear and tear and damage caused by impact or dropping)

What is not covered?

  • General wear and tear
  • Scratching to the outer casing
  • Damage to the hardware, electronics or casing caused by impact
  • Damage to the hardware, electronics or casing caused by dropping the board
  • Any damage caused by collision or accident during use

Hoverkart Warranty For all models
We do not accept returns on once the item has been used.
Owing to the nature of the Hoverkart itself, we at hcsgadgets are acutely aware that these items will require attention at some point during the time they are in your possession.

What is covered under warranty? 

  • Missing parts

What is not covered?

  • General wear and tear
  • Scratching to the bars.
  • Damage to the wheel, straps, casing caused.
  • Any damage caused by collision or accident during use

Warranty

  • 1 year full UK manufacturers warranty on vehicle body
  • 6 month full UK manufacturers warranty for the battery
  • 3 month full UK manufacturers warranty for rear wheel and other consumables

Please note out of the 30 day return period which goods deemed to be faulty, the customer is responsible for delivery of returning the hoverboard back and from the return centre.

Repairs can take up to 20 days from the day of the return entering the return centre.

Returns

We will accept any unused item back for full refund within 14 days. Please note the item must be unused, sealed and in its original packaging, all items will be checked upon arrival and the return can we returned free of charge. The customer will be liable for the return postage costs. Please note it can take up to 28 days to for the return to be processed once received.

If an item is faulty it can be returned to us for a refund or replacement within 14 days of purchase. The item will be thoroughly checked by our technicians upon arrival and refunds can only be issued if the board has a manufacturing or electrical fault. If a product fault is reported after 14 days we will offer a free repair service and repair or replace your board as necessary.

If an item has been used, we will still also accept the return, however, there will be a 25% restocking fee on the item. It will also be down to the customer to cover the return postage costs.
All returns are subject to inspection by our expertly trained technicians.

Faulty

Please note if the hoverboard has been used or is damaged then we will not issue a refund, the item will be repaired under the 12 months warranty or replaced if deemed to have a manufacturers fault.

If a fault develops in the first 30 days of purchase, we will send a pre-paid label and will cover the postage back. Please note, it can take up to 28 days from the receipt of the item for a repaired item to be processed and returned back to the customer.

If your item is faulty within the 30 day cooling off period then a repair is possible as long as the board, charger and accessories are free of any damage and / or seals are intact, or else the warranty is void. If the item cannot be repaired then a replacement will be issued.

For any items outside the 30 day cooling off period that are deemed as faulty then the customer is responsible for delivery charges to the repair centre and however are covered by us to return the item back to the customer.

Our hoverboards come with 1 year manufacturer warranty to cover the any electrical or mechanical faults.. Due to the nature of the product we cannot be held responsible for misuse.
Board, charger or accessory must be free of any damage and/or seals must be intact or else warranty void, this includes water damage and misuse. In the last 11 months of the warranty the buyer must cover the postage back to us, we will cover it on return (after being repair), so effectively splitting the costs. Please note the warranty is only valid if the product is charged every 30 days in order to maintain a minimum battery charge level. If upon examination, it is discovered that the battery within the product has not been charged then the overall product warranty will be void as it can cause an effect on other components as well as the battery.  Due to the nature of the product, we cannot be held responsible for the misuse of the product or accessories. The warranty does not cover: damage due to misuse; theft, aesthetic damages, paint scratches, general wear and tear, damage due to attempt of repairs; or modifying the board, components or charger accessories in any way.
Board, charger and any accessories must be free of any damage caused by misuse and/or seals must be intact or else warranty is void.
